Welcome to Return to the Origin, a journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Amazon Rainforest of Peru, an immersive experience created to guide you into a deep reconnection with yourself, with Pachamama (Mother Earth), and with the ancient ancestral traditions of these lands.
This transformative journey unfolds between sacred mountains and living jungle, weaving together the wisdom of the Andean Cosmovision, encounters with native peoples, traditional rituals, natural landscapes of immense power, and millenary sacred sites.
At the heart of this retreat is the Earth herself: a living teacher who guides us back to the essential, to the body, and to who we are beneath the layers of modern life.
THE ESSENCE OF THIS JOURNEY
This journey unfolds as a gradual return to the origin: from high sacred mountains to living rainforest. Each phase supports acclimatization, grounding, opening, and integration.
This retreat is an invitation to step out of modern rhythms and return to an essential way of being.
We will walk sacred lands, spend time with indigenous communities, sit in powerful natural spaces, and enter territories where time softens and something ancient within us can awaken.
This experience is about:

The Sacred Valley of the Incas
The Sacred Valley is a living temple.
Cradled between the mountains and crossed by the sacred Urubamba River, this land has been a spiritual center for thousands of years. It is a place of grounding and remembering, where Andean wisdom still lives through its people, its rituals, and its intimate relationship with Pachamama.
During our days in the Sacred Valley, we will gently acclimate in Pisac, walk through local markets and ancient villages, visit powerful archaeological and ceremonial sites such as the Intihuatana of Pisac and Machu Picchu, and spend time in sacred natural spaces. We will meet Andean wisdom keepers, participate in traditional rituals and offering ceremonies, share integration circles, and immerse ourselves in the living culture of the valley. Optional plant ceremonies will be available, alongside alternative experiences with indigenous communities and visits to the most powerful sites.
The Amazon Jungle
The Amazon is the womb of the Earth.
An immense, breathing intelligence where life unfolds in infinite forms, sounds, and colors. Here, everything is alive, interconnected, and in constant dialogue. The jungle does not ask us to understand — it asks us to feel. To slow down. To listen. To return to instinct. In the Amazon, the boundaries between inner and outer worlds dissolve, and the forest becomes a mirror of our own inner landscape. It awakens sensitivity, humility, and a deep sense of belonging to the web of life.
In the Amazon, we will spend five days immersed in the rainforest, navigating rivers and hidden tributaries, walking jungle paths with local naturalist guides, observing wildlife, learning about medicinal plants, and visiting indigenous communities. We will explore lagoons by canoe, witness sunrises and sunsets over the forest, take part in night walks, and spend a night in a jungle watchtower surrounded by the sounds of the living jungle. This part of the journey is about presence, wonder, and remembering our place within nature.

To take part in this journey is to take part in a return to the self.
To see, feel, and experience a different reality that guides you toward your personal truth and inner transformation.
For this reason, this retreat is for those who are seeking deep inner change, a connection with Andean traditions and the jungle primal nature, healing, and a reconnection with their true self.
EXPLORE THE ITINERARY
Day 1 - Arrival in Cusco
- Arrival at Cusco airport and transfer to Pisac (a small town about 45 minutes from Cusco), followed by an opening circle with all participants.
Day 2 - Despacho with Andean curandero
- A gentle beginning to allow the body to adapt to the altitude and the soul to arrive. We will spend the day in Pisac, a beautiful Andean village in the heart of the Sacred Valley. We will explore the town, walk through its famous artisan market, connect with the land, and open the journey. A day dedicated to grounding, rest, and gentle connection. We will offer a despacho ceremony and a traditional coca leaf reading with an Andean curandero.
Day 3 - Ancestral Ceremony or Cultural Experience at a Local Andean Village
- Those who feel called may take part in a traditional San Pedro ceremony guided by our Quechua teacher, with a sacred walk to the beautiful Kinsacocha lagoon, immersed in the landscapes of the high Andean mountains. After the experience, we will return to Don Hernán’s home, where we will share dinner together before going back to our retreat space. For those who choose not to participate in the ceremony, an alternative experience will be organized with with a local Andean Community, dedicated to cultural exchange, connection with local life, and immersion in the Andean world. Both paths honor connection, nature, and ancestral wisdom.
Day 4 - Exploration of Pisaq archeological Site
- After a morning of integration, we will visit the Intihuatana, the sacred Inca ruins of Pisac, with an expert guide who will share the history and spiritual significance of this magical archaeological site.
Day 5 - Ancestral Ceremony or Sacred Valley Tour
- Those who feel called will take part in a traditional Ayahuasca ceremony, held in a safe and respectful setting. For those who will not participate, a guided exploration of the Sacred Valley will be organized, visiting some of the most important sites and powerful landscapes of the region, with arrival in the evening in Ollantaytambo, where we will spend the night.
Day 6 - Integration and Ollantaytambo
- The morning will be dedicated to integration and rest for those who participated in the ceremony. In the afternoon, the group will reunite and travel to the magical Inca town of Ollantaytambo. We will walk through its ancient streets and visit its impressive archaeological site, a living ceremonial city built into the mountain. Overnight in Ollantaytambo
Day 7 - Machu Picchu
- From Ollantaytambo, we will take the train to Machu Picchu Pueblo, and from there visit one of the most sacred places on Earth: Machu Picchu. Guided visit of the citadel, with time to walk, feel, and absorb the energy of this extraordinary place. Overnight in Aguas Calientes
Day 8 - Return to Cusco and Guided Visit
- Return to Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire. Time to explore the city, walk through the historic center, visit temples and markets, and prepare for the transition from the mountains to the jungle.
Day 9–13 – 5 days / 4 nights in the Peruvian Amazon (Iquitos)
- We will fly to Iquitos, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon, where our 5-day / 4-night rainforest expedition will begin. This part of the journey is a total immersion into one of the most alive ecosystems on Earth, accompanied by experienced local naturalist guides. The Amazon experience includes: • Navigation on the Amazon River and its tributaries • Wildlife observation (monkeys, birds, caimans, pink dolphins, and more) • Jungle walks and learning about medicinal plants • Visits to indigenous communities • Canoe excursions and lagoon exploration • Night walks • Sunrises and sunsets over the rainforest • One night camping in a jungle watchtower, surrounded by the sounds of the forest • Exploration of giant trees and remote jungle areas These days are devoted to listening, humility, presence, instinct, and wonder. The jungle becomes the teacher. All meals, accommodation, local transportation, and guiding are included during the Amazon expedition.
Day 13/14 Return to Lima to end the journey
- Domestic flight from Iquitos to Lima to connect with the international return flight.

- International and local flights (Cusco-.Iquitos and Iquitos-Lima)
- Travel insurance
- Personal expenses and meals during the first part of the journey (all meals are included during the Amazon jungle expedition).
WHO WILL BE YOUR GUIDE
Francesca
Originally from Italy, I now live in the enchanting Sacred Valley of Peru. Before moving here, I lived and worked in different parts of the world, including Colombia, Tanzania, Kenya, Nepal, Guatemala, Mexico, and Ecuador. In a previous chapter of my life, I worked as a humanitarian aid worker on various projects, specializing in emergency response and child protection.
After going through a spiritual crisis while working for the United Nations in Kenya, I left and went to India in 2015, where I studied Eastern philosophy and practiced meditation. After my time in India, I went to Nepal working for an NGO that supported earthquake relief efforts. During that period, I continued studying in order to deepen my spiritual practice and understanding.
One thing became increasingly clear throughout my journeys: it was no longer possible to separate humanitarian work from spirituality. It was essential that these two paths eventually converged, so that I could embody everything I had learned along the way. This search for a more compassionate way of living marked the beginning of a new chapter in my life. I first walked the Camino de Santiago, then traveled through South America, eventually arriving in the Sacred Valley of Peru, where I came into contact with Master Plants for the first time.
I truly believe that these plants have the power to accelerate the awakening process, heal trauma, and help us move through fear. Accessing the wisdom of these plants felt like an accelerated course in spirituality. This experience changed my life so deeply that I chose to leave my previous path in international cooperation and continue my journey in the Peruvian Andes, where I feel life is simpler and aligned with the rhythms of nature.
Since then, I have been working as a digital nomad and supporting groups on their journeys of awakening and self-reconnection, both in the Sacred Valley and in the Amazon rainforest.
